Traditional security systems will typically send an alert so that a human can assess a situation and respond to the site. Quite often, this means the offender could be long gone – and the damage already done – by the time security personnel arrive. But when the site is monitored by a Spectur security camera with AI, any human movement detection can instantly trigger a warning and deterrence process to intruders.
When an intruder is identified, the system illuminates (red warning in the STA6 or white floodlight with the HD5), while a loud spoken warning is emitted onsite. This provides a response within seconds of the trespasser arriving in view of the camera, and in most cases will cause them to leave the site immediately before damage can be done. Meanwhile, security staff are alerted via an in-app notification and email so they can make their way to the site if they need to.
