STA6 XS

Smart camera vision and detection
The STA6 delivers the clearest vision, day or night, and in all conditions. Configure the 4k ultra low-light cameras (or long-range thermal) for single or dual 90-degree vision. Set it in either panoramic 180-degree form or linear perimeter configuration with opposite facing camera sensors. Supported by built-in dynamic IR illuminators, you can clearly observe movement and record vision in zero light conditions in any direction, and at a distance. Its AI-based detection makes this platform the leader in false alarm reduction. The smart system can distinguish between people, vehicles, animals and other objects.
Flexible communications capabilities
Coming standard as a Wi-Fi hub, the STA6 XS can also be equipped to provide communications via LoRaWAN, Bluetooth and other custom radio frequencies. This ensures that you can route all compatible devices via the STA6 XS to the cloud and to you.

Security
The STA6 has all the features of the STA6 Base model to help you reduce crime by providing 24-7 surveillance in unwired, higher value environments. The STA6 XS is the ideal platform to uniquely supplement camera-based detection with other remote detection devices. Combined with door or window switches, motion detectors, accelerometers and other remote solar or battery-powered sensors to activate the STA6 XS in deterrence mode, this platform can send alerts immediately to you or a monitoring service. By sensing and activating appropriate responses, the system deters potential offenders from entering the site. The platform provides a high-quality record of security events. Because the vision is stored in the cloud, offenders cannot damage or remove the record, which gives you clear evidence, allowing you to take follow-up action if needed.
Surveillance
With the STA6 XS, you can conveniently observe what’s happening on site, anytime, from either a phone app or the web interface. The digital zoom, pan and tilt functions allow closer scrutiny of the high-quality images without compromising gridding and detection applications. You can communicate with the site directly through the onboard microphone and speaker, and pass on warnings or instructions.

We are also looking at using sensing applications for noise, vibration, and air quality to support compliance requirements. Other sensing applications we’re investigating include surface and ground water levels, pressures, and flows, and environmental monitoring.
Time-lapse application
Record crisp images at your choice of intervals in 4k quality. The system stores the images securely in the cloud and can be accessed anytime, anywhere. The images can be integrated and edited to provide a time-lapse video. Leverage the time-lapse imagery in many ways. Use it to document a time-lapse record of a site, suitable for insurance claims. Showcase your development’s progress in a time-lapse video and use it in advertising or promotion. You can also use the time-lapse surveillance vision to manage your subcontractors.
Warning application
Broadcast a loud, programmable, spoken warning together with warning lights to alert the community of a danger or guide people to a muster point. Trigger the warning manually or automatically in response to sensing activity. Use the camera vision and onboard microphone and speaker to check and confirm if the community heard and followed the warning advice. If needed provide further instruction.
Experience the timesaving convenience of being able to warn the public of dangerous events without having to attend the site. Because you can confirm and monitor the community’s response, you can then decide the actions to take next.
Use smoke detectors, water level float gauges, air quality sensors and a host of other sensors to remotely sense and communicate with the STA6 XS to trigger warnings, alerts and gather data.
